Tracking the progress of work on the bank of Quantity
is often too much like watching artificial grass grow,
so let's shift over to the Quality side of the action.
One of the things that always interested me about
categorical data analysis was the way that it fell
between the shores of Qual and Quan, and thus could
be used as a stepping stone between these two realms.
For example, returning to the Family Scenario, notice how easily the
well-versed reader, attuned to the action codes used in this setting,
can render a much more natural, if still highly stylized description
of the action.
