You need to back up --
You are standing too close to the picture.

There is a big difference bewteen
pointillist phenomenology and the
phenomenology of the single point.

You are never going to get a scientific semiotic
if you continue to wallow in this Hegelian troth.

I have had too many people complain about HTML-mauling of texts
to continue this game with you.  Peirce's qualifications, hedges,
and indications that a causal relation can be involved incidentally
in particular illustrations of what is more importantly an information
relation already speak loudly enough for me.  I recommend that you follow
me in my careful working through the many long discussions of "determination"
that Peirce took the time to reason through and to write out for our benefit.
