No, I think I now understand his intention rather better, and it is
quite reasonable and quite different from the interpretation I
suggested. Doug is quite right to worry that a trivial mechanical
rewrite or notation change (eg say transcribing the 'material' into
KIF and changing all the name prefixes from %# to &&&) could enable
someone to escape the letter of current copyright law.
There may be a form of words which would make the intent clearer.
