BTW I am now confused about this so-called Nicola's Position... does he claim or not that the clay and the statue are "identical"; and how does this related to e.g. the "object-oriented" notion of object identity (as separate from any of its attribute's values, even its lexical "identifiers") --so where can I find the original text? Nicola, are you reading this?
