The two lists can be used together. Ontolog has several different
email lists, which are devoted to specialized subtopics. The SUO
list can be devoted to the specialized topic of developing a
standard, which was its original purpose.

The SUO list has voting procedures and membership rules. Those
procedures can be used to reorganize and revivify it.
