I agree with Pat about tea parties: the act of stuffing
the dormouse into the tea pot may be part of a tea party,
but it is not, in itself, a tea party.
Re time: The legal folk have a good rule: avoid making
definitive pronouncements about moot issues -- if there is
no pressing need to make a decision about a doubtful matter,
don't do it.
