The results of the vote for SUMO Technical Editor are:
Allan Terry = 10
Adam Pease = 21
Many voters remarked how both would be a good choice. Also, some asked if their votes could remain confidential.
I will hold off for a couple days before officially making this
appointment, in case there are any questions.

4. Voting Rules: The role of a Technical Editor is not an official
position and does not require a
formal election. The Chair can appoint (as well as unappoint) a person
to this position. There is no specified term. As such, this will be an
unofficial vote. The candidate with the most votes wins and will be
appointed by the Chair. A quorum of responses is not required. Members
need not respond to maintain their voting rights.
5. You may receive up to three copies of this notice. I'm sending it
directly to voting members, and also to the Standard-upper-ontology and
SUO-STATUS lists.
