RE: Status of SUMO?

Dear Markus,

There was a motion to approve an early version of the SUMO as a starter
document (see the resolutions page on the SUO website). This has been
declared passed by the Chair, but there has been an objection raised
about how the votes were counted, which does not seem to be finally
resolved yet. However, its status is passed until a successful appeal.

There is a Procedures Document also available on the SUO website that,
once approved, would provide the process by which development and
approval should take place.
