Good luck in your future endeavors.
I realize that we have had many disagreements
about SUMO and its overall goals, but I believe
that you have done some very good work in putting
it together.
My major complaint has been that any monolithic
ontology is too brittle to accommodate all the
variations and modifications that inevitably arise.
Given that caveat, I would hasten to add that the work
in gathering, tailoring, and assembling the modules that
went into SUMO shouldn't be wasted, since it demonstrates
one promising arrangement. There are, however, an open-
ended number of other ways of organizing modules to form
a large ontology, and I believe that MSO or whatever may
evolve from it is a good technology for accommodating
SUMO, CYC, and many other ontology projects as a common
resource, from which many other promising arrangements
may be derived.

PS: What is LCC? Google says that there are 783,000
