Re: SUO: Multi-Source Ontology (MSO) Draft Ballot Question
Thanks John for more background; however:

my concern is back with the old topic of concern for
this group: upper ontology. I am not concerned at present
with the many and varied collections in wordnet, or
even with those that get too far from the top
in SUMO. Phillipe said that he reorganised the top
level structures of WN, and that is where I was
wondering about work: not in checking links between
ontologies. Also a valuable task, but not one I
was asking about. Since WN is a lexicon not an
ontology, it would be interesting to have the
upper level commitments that have been found necessary
spelled out from several different perspectives and
that these commitments be compared.
