I begin to perceive a theme developing in recent discussions
that touches on such a large number of topics, not only the
ones that I've been able to mark out for formal attention,
but many more than I'd be able to anchor in the archive
for quite some time to come, at least, at the present
rate of indexing. Toward treating this theme more
coherently, then, without having to make several
mention of it under each of the established,
evanescent, or evolving topics, I will take
the tack of making up a catchy, cache-all,
if overstuffily fanciful name for it,
and by this portentous portmanteau
hope to bag it, as I know is the
dead earnest hope all round.
