Thanks for the chuckle.  I really needed that.
I share your nostalgia for the old page-turners,
but really, I think that it's past time that all
of us hip-replaced old dudes move on to new ways
of using these computational media in more active,
collabyrinthine, and dia-logically interactive ways,
instead of just emulating and idolizing our old file
cabinents full of deadwood samplers of our wasted youth.

I suggest that people who can't stand the heat
should not spend their mental vacation time on
sunny Mount Mordor.
