The time has come ... to speak of shifting paradigms --
What!? Already!? Yes, I'm affrayed that this ebaby,
our joint issue, has already outgrown its burgeoning
ediapers, and the ensuing stink eraised the eccasion
thereon informs most noisomely that it swells beyond
the E_time for a change.
Having once envisioned that the topical tag "Definition Of" (DO)
would serve as a fairly ennoculous way of bringing Topics to the
common ettension, I have come to recognize just how erroneous my
envisionment can be, and so I am farced to make emends. Evident
it be to me now how too many emong us are efflicted with so many
"loops in the head" (LITH's) that re*play themselves on each and
every stimulus, no matter how effably I will ettempt ee cummings
emself to emmolate, that the word "Definition" demands etirement
from out post*modern edictionaries, and so I giffed it its guilt
watch and esent it epacking its engorged etrunc, to some happier
hunt'n'pick ground on the effabled elephant ecompression escapes
by the eskers of the sky.
That lux fiat, the only thing needed to lift the old scales from
our eyes and to raise the cloud of dust above the level of topic
heads among us, in hopes of raising the Dawn Of New Days to come,
is to elect a new candidate for the tag to prey foremost in mind.
As of this writhing, I am contemplating these:
1. "Elucidation Of" (EO).
2. "Information On" (IO).
Hard choice.
I've seriously entertained bringing
it to a vote of the memberslip, but
2nd and 3rd thoughts out-voted that.
I will screen test the two in alternation,
just to see which plays better On The Air
and with the Public Reception.
