SUOPT :> Definition 02. http://suo.ieee.org/email/msg11652.html
TJ remarked:
TJ: I like rough and ready. I'd just suggest that there are certain
areas of town where the paint is good enough, where even rough
strokes aren't needed before we get started. "Issue", "example",
even "proposition" (with all its notorious philosophical baggage,
of which I am well aware) don't seem to me to need even a dab of
paint, provided our objective is to complete the document Matthew
is working on.

Sigh. Please look around. See the cites.
The things that you say, say that you are
a way-out-of-towner, or at least, haven't
been from around here in a very long time.
If you can locate but a single consensual
definition hereabouts, of even the firest
geronymous brand, then do e-patch it with
all due dispatch to a fine and proper url,
and the entire working group will pick up
the gauntlet, and initiate itself on that.
