Matthew,
So basically you're saying that there wasn't really anything
for the rest of the Working Group to do when you made your
announcement, with the possible exception of:
1. Be silent, and by this silence to say we assent to the Magna Carta Blanca.
2. Guess what the Self-Nominated Project Leader wanted to hear in the first place.
I think that we've all been part of committees that worked that way,
but I hope that it's not going to be the model that are proposing
here, or that you expect us to be silent about.
Let us know when you're ready.
I'll try to find something or
other useful to do in the
mean time.

MW: I have no objection to your proposal
(start at 1 not 0 if I understand it
correctly).
MW: However, we are still getting ahead of ourselves.
We are discussing content before the purpose and
Table of Contents is available, and whilst the
starter document I threw together is indicative
of where I want to go, I really consider the whole
thing a throw away, and if no content ends up being
carried forward, I will not be unduly concerned
(provided we have something better of course).
MW: So the next step is for me to propose a purpose, target audience,
and Table of Contents for all to comment on. I'll try to do that
by the end of the weekend.
