John,

I merely felt it necessary in this conetxt to re-iterate what can
hardly be a surprise to you, since you iterate it so often yourself,
if not exactly in these words, that there are untapped possibilities
in Peirce's work that are as yet to be actualized by the 20+1th century
philosophers who still do their best to ignore him, like all but a handful
of the references on your list. And if Peirce did not exactly use the words
"context" or "semantics" with the cachet that we currently invest them with,
it is clear that he wrote much that is relevant to the pragmatic and social
context of interpretation, and it is just as clear that others like Morris
used their own reductive sense of context in misinterpreting what he meant
by the pragmatic therapeutics, if not exactly in those words, of meaning.

So I just thought that it would be worth a try
to keep on trying to tap those untapped ideas.
