CALL FOR PAPERS
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Conferences of series ?Cognitive Modeling? are
held with success since 1998. In 2000 a title was
specified as ?Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics?. In
1998 and 2000 the conference was held as part of
National Conference for Artificial Intelligence (CAI).
In 2001 - as a part of International Congress for
Artificial Intelligence (ICAI-2001), that took place
in Divnomorskoe. In 2002 the conference is hold in
Divnomorskoe also as a part of The IEEE International
Conference ?Artificial Intelligence Systems? (IEEE
AIS'02). This year the conference is hold in Varna
(Bulgaria) as joint event ?Cognitive Modeling in
Linguistics? - ?Computerization of Natural Languages?.
The aim of the conference is an integration of efforts
of specialists in cognitive psychology, learning
theory, neural networks, cognitive linguistics,
knowledge engineering, semiotics, psycholinguistics
etc. in investigation of cognitive processing of
language information.

IMPORTANT DATES
Preliminary paper submission date June 1, 2002
Preliminary date of acceptance: June 15, 2002
Paper Submission Deadline: July 1, 2003
Final notification of acceptance: July 10, 2003
Taking in account brief period of the conference
organization, committee decided to review submissions
in two steps. Preliminary dates was introduced for
investigators who needed additional time to travel
grant and documents execution. Final notification date
of acceptance is July 10, 2003 (24:00 of Moscow time).
PUBLICATIONS
Proceedings of the conference (in paper form) will be
published after conference conclusion. Besides they
will be published in electron form in Web Journal of
Formal, Computational and Cognitive Linguistics
(FCCL), http://www.kcn.ru/tat_en/science/ fccl/.
Working languages are Russian and English.
Papers can be applied in Russian (with abstract in
English) or in English up to July, 1 in formats
MS-Word, RTF, txt or PDF. Size of text is 6-20 pages.
