SUO: "Intelligence Production Process Ontologies"

As a newcomer to the list I've been following the recent discussion
with interest. Most illuminating! And I'd like to thank Michal
Sevcenko for his browser. Extremely useful to me in understanding
what's in SUMO.
I have an interest in ontologies that model, what I'm calling, the
"Intelligence Production Process." By this I mean the generation of
value-added, actionable information from raw data. This has an
obvious interpretation in the context of national security, but
equally applies to business intelligence, and to other fields like
investigative reporting, financial analysis, and even academic
research.
I'm not sure if this is an appropriate topic for the SUO group, but
if anyone is working on this, or something similar, then I'd be very
interested in hearing from them either through this forum or via
email.
