I was not sure what you meant by "object to be exchanged" -- just in case:
2. It has turned out to be one of ineffectual history's baddest of the bad ideas --
and not in the good sense -- when some computer folks took to abridging the
phrase "object code module" down to "object". Continued abuse along these
lines will almost single-wordedly guarantee that we never have anything
remotely approxing a "semantic", in the referent sense, "web",
but, as ever, yet another Cobweb in the Web of Maya.
