Could someone please tell me the relationship between the computing
science use of the word "ontology" and that in philosophy and psychology?
Or is it like Microsoft's "icons"? I am sure Bill Gates would like MS to
be seen as the new Mecca of religious symbols but otherwise the word is
MS silliness. "Symbol" would have done nicely.
