The answer to that question depends on how smart your bats
are and the level of progress that bat scientists have made.

Since bats live in an environment where their sensory modes
are sensitive to different kinds of information, their most
natural thoughts would be very different from those of humans
or dolphins. But just as human scientists have developed
microscopes, telescopes, sonar, etc., to expand the human
sensory levels, it might be possible for alien species to
expand their sensory levels to overlap those of humans.
Then it would be possible for them to have overlapping
systems of concepts.
By the way, I remember an old Far Side cartoon, which showed
dogs wearing white coats and holding magnifying glasses.
The caption read, "Dog scientists study the problem
of the doorknob."
