SUO: VOTE on SUMO

Dear Jim,

I vote "NO".

I agree with the concerns of others on a lack of methodology
for and quality of the current document. Others have chosen to
abstain, in order not to discourage the work. I choose to vote
no, not to discourage the work, but to indicate I do not feel
the work in SUMO has reached what I would consider a start point
yet.

I strongly believe that the standardisation process should not
start while there are so many unanswered questions as there are
at present. I have seen this happen on several occasions, because
it seems like progress, but it is an illusion.

I support the continued development of the SUMO informally,
although I do not intend to participate in its development, and
would not expect to use it for any industrial purpose.
