A reasonable speculation.

Yes.
And there are muddy areas that could (but, one hopes, will not be)
a problem with the License Agreement.
For example, it is necessary to acknowledge
"Cycorp, 3721 Executive Center Dr., Austin, TX 78731" in
any sign-on message.
If some Cyc were used in an OS file system,
would the "sign-on message" be something in the boot process, or
necesarily part of every log-on?
But, to put worst-case speculation in perspective,
the Cycorp approach seems pretty enlightened and perhaps
as much as could be reasonably expected.
