Re: SOme results from the Heidelberg Meeting

Chris,
Let me suggest an additional level of classification for your list

Ontology Content
   Identity of events
   Ontology of relations
   Static concepts
   Structuring relations
   Things, Events, Situations
Wordnet and Eurowordnet (to the extent this discussion is "what can we
merge from WordNet into the SUO")

Language and Representation of the SUO
   Language vs. ontology
   Multiple inheritance
   Vagueness and precision
   Use of logic, KIF, etc.

Purpose of the SUO
Methodology and purpose of this effort
   Role of upper level ontology

While the latter two groups are needed, my hope is that we'll achieve
consensus in those discussions early and that the bulk of discussion will
eventually be in the first group of topics.
